Under the leadership of Academician Tuleshov A.K., the delegation of Kazakhstan visited two leading scientific institutions in China: the Shenyang Institute of Automation, which is one of the leading institutes under the National Academy of Sciences of China, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, which is one of the three strongest universities in the country.

During the visit, it was decided to sign a memorandum with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, providing for the exchange of students, the creation of a joint laboratory and the implementation of innovative projects, including the development of a joint robot. Special attention was paid to the study of advanced technologies, control systems and methods of robot training.

The Kazakh delegation got acquainted with the latest achievements in the field of robotics, including robots for people with disabilities, moon rovers, ski robots and humanoid robots. Agricultural robots developed for precision farming and weed control using water and laser burning also aroused interest.

Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Shenyang Institute of Automation play an important role in the development of science and technology in the international arena. This visit was an important step towards strengthening scientific ties between Kazakhstan and China, opening up new opportunities for joint research and innovative developments.
