Within the framework of international cooperation, the staff of the Institute of Mechanics and Engineering named after Academician U.A.Dzholdasbekov, led by Professor A.K. Tuleshov, visited Izmir Technical University, as well as leading enterprises and research sites in Turkey.

The purpose of the trip was to strengthen scientific ties, share experiences and discuss promising joint projects.
During the visit, it was decided to sign a memorandum of cooperation with Izmir Technical University. This document is aimed at developing a long-term partnership between the two institutions and provides for the exchange of students, researchers and staff to improve their skills, conduct joint research, implement educational programs and develop joint projects. The signing of the memorandum will be an important step towards creating a solid foundation for further cooperation.
The institute delegation got acquainted with the production facilities of Dirinler, which specializes in the production of stamping equipment. During the meeting, the possibilities of joint work in the field of innovative equipment development were discussed, and joint work will be carried out on the preparation of technical specifications for the development of presses based on Kazakhstani mechanisms.
Special attention was paid to working meetings with Turkish scientists and engineers involved in the development of robotic systems and research in the field of theory of mechanisms and machines. This made it possible to exchange current research and outline the preparation of joint projects. During the visit, Institute of Mechanics and Machine Science employees visited Akturk, where they got acquainted with advanced technologies and production processes, which will integrate best practices into the institute’s research.
The delegation also examined the infrastructure of laboratories and technology parks, noting their innovative approaches that enhance opportunities for scientific research and the introduction of advanced solutions in industry. During the visit, it was decided to regularly hold joint scientific seminars to share research results, discuss promising areas and prepare joint projects.
The visit to Izmir Technical University and Turkey’s leading enterprises became an important stage in the development of Institute of Mechanics and Engineering Sciences international cooperation. This visit opened up new opportunities for scientific and industrial partnership, as well as laid the foundation for joint initiatives in the field of science and technology.
